1. Who we are

SheetsBoss ("SheetsBoss", "we", "us") operates the sheetsboss.com website, where we describe our Google Sheets add-ons. This policy explains what the website itself collects. Each add-on — for example SheetsBoss Contact — has its own Privacy Policy covering what it can see and store, linked from its page.

For the purposes of the UK and EU GDPR, SheetsBoss is the controller of the data described below. You can reach us any time at getsheetsboss@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

This website collects very little. We only receive personal data when you choose to give it to us:

• Contact form. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message.
• Server logs. Like any website, our host automatically records standard request data — IP address, browser user agent and the page requested — for security and reliability.

We do not ask you to create an account on this website, and we do not use this site to collect data from inside your Google Sheets — that only ever happens through an installed add-on, under its own Privacy Policy.

3. How we use it

• To answer you. We use your name, email and message to reply to your contact-form submission.
• To keep the site running and secure. Server logs help us diagnose errors, prevent abuse and keep the site available.

Our basis for this is our legitimate interest in running a working website and answering the people who write to us, and — where applicable law requires it — your consent in submitting the form.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and no analytics script runs on it today. If that changes, we will update this section before turning anything on.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use two service providers (processors) to run this website:

Each processor is bound by a written agreement to use the data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data if we are legally required to, or if it is necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of SheetsBoss or others.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages for up to 24 months so we have the history of a conversation, then delete them — ask us sooner and we'll delete sooner. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on its standard schedule, typically no more than 30 days.

7. Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit with TLS, and data we store is encrypted at rest by our database provider. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires it.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. California residents have the rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing under the CCPA/CPRA — we do not sell or share personal data, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising a right.

To exercise any of these, email getsheetsboss@gmail.com from the address you contacted us with. We answer within a working day and complete requests within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and think we have got it wrong, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

9. Children

This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will say so prominently on this page — and, where we hold your address, by email — before it takes effect.
